In-Tune, the Piano World Piano Forums Newsletter
October 2008About "In-Tune"
In-Tune is the newsletter for piano lovers.
Much of the material for In-Tune comes from our world famous piano forums.
By now many of you have heard about the passing of Henry Steinway, the last of the Steinway family involved with Steinway Pianos.
You can read the details, and tributes from our members (many had met/known Henry) here... Henry Steinway Tributes
Speaking of Steinway, Welcome, Bob Snyder, Steinway Bob Snyder of Steinway
Who else is represented on Piano World?
Representatives from Bechstein, Estonia, Mason & Hamlin and Kawai all participate.
Who did I leave out? Are you a manufacturer representative for a piano company?
Let me know, so we can let our 35,000+ members (and their friends, co-workers, and relatives), plus the millions of unregistered visitors to our site know which piano companies are interested enough in communicating with their customers to join a major piano forum.
Try out our new online jigsaw puzzles.
We've posted 3 so far, the Piano World Logo, Beethoven, and a Bosendorfer 185 (thanks for the Bosie picture Phillip).
Please be sure to READ THE DIRECTIONS before playing with the jigsaw puzzles.

Then, let us know what you think, and/or send us a picture to convert into a (piano/music-related) jigsaw puzzle. Pictures should ideally be 400x400 pixels, jpg or gif.

However it has prompted some interesting conversations.

Piano Museum in France (as reported by member Tweedpipe) Piano Museum
This looks like a great place to visit. They have a web site, unfortunately my French is a little rusty (ok, I don't remember any). Luckily Tweedpipe had given us a great description, enough to make me want to visit some day.

You should check them out, always interesting articles, posts, and links.
Reminder, when Posting Pictures on the Forums PLEASE use our uploader, or if you have a lot of pictures, send them to me. Too many good pictures disappear because they were linked to photobucket or one of the other services, and the users account closed.
