E.Nagao Dear Mr. Baxter: Thank you so much for the information on the age of my piano. I bought it used about 3 years ago while living in Ohio. Had my piano tuner tune it, replace some bass strings, and refinish the case. Moved it to Florida, and my tuner down here says the next tuning, he should be able to bring it up to concert pitch. It was fun to find out that the piano is 70 years old. Neither piano tuner was able to give me any information at all. Really enjoyed your web site. Thanks again, Trudie Tyler Enjoyed the informativness of your page. I spent many months several years ago trying to gather information on types, age and in general on pianos. I finally bought secondhand and to my surprise I was contacted by a collector and piano restorer who wanted to take photo's and see my find himself. The piano it seems is an original bought out to Australia from germany in 1931. I think if I had your page then it would have been of great assistance.
