Chopin and Zipoli for me. But then I'm a bit biased. Mercifully Ravel didn't squeeze into the list with that dratted "Bolero".

I went through a several teachers when I began lessons at 9. With slight variations they assigned me scales and arpeggios ( which I still hate) Czerny and Burgmuller. Then a horrible period with Pischna and Plaidy. One of my earliest teachers

I considered the CA-15, however, being able to record to USB is a key feature for me. In any case, if you have the chance at all, see that you can find a place to play a little on both. There is a difference, if from the pivot point alone.

James is right. In your situation the CA 15 is the better choice. I am playing the same key action in the VPC 1 and it is fairly similar to my grand. In Kawai's stable, only the GF actions come even closer.

Thank you for the reply James, I was expecting that reply actually considering that the ca-15s key action should be better, from what I've read anyway. I wanted to ask though since I know that the keyaction in the cn-35 is very new and I haven't real

Stereo speakers and pianos are completely different. On a stereo you push play. On a piano YOU create the music. I've heard a number of amateur pianists say 'I don't know what the big deal about these Fazioli pianos is. They sound very cold and one

PianoCraft is an excellent place to shop for performance-grade pianos. Another place to shop would be The Piano Company in Leesburg, Virginia, just south of DC. They carry the Fazioli, Shigeru Kawai, and Schimmel lines.

How is the damper timing to the key? Sometimes on these pianos the dampers are set to lift very early. If someone adjusted the lost motion the spoons can hold up the dampers.
