Ok well hm, the last piece I've worked on was Rachmaninoff's Prelude no 5 op. 23, and the learning process went quite well, it's not as difficult as it might seem when you listen to it. Have you ever listened to Ludovico Einaudi's works ? It's reall

Thank you very much Mark_C, Derulux and Hakki. A reason why I chose , it's free to free to any piece but have to play at least one movement of Sonata, is when I hear D 845 of first movement, it's the one I'm going to play, I imagine what is going on

Thanks bill, I'll have to make some tests to see what size pin works best. The funny thing is there is no dowel, no pin..nada! I can take a small sewing straight pin and run it right tbrought the bushing cloth unopposed, repinning should definitely

This is definitely a significant warranty issue if this is in fact a new piano. If you aren't getting satisfaction with the dealer I'd try the rep. A new Yamaha should have beautiful snug bushings with no movement and perfectly level and spaced key

While most of our airfreight shipments (in & out) have gone very well, we did have a Grotrian arrive by airfreight that had fallen straight down from some height. The damage to the wooden crate looked like handling from forks and pry bars. It w

I second BDB's good advice. At a minimum, keep the little boys away during the move. Grown men are smart (?) enough to decide if they want to be involved, but little boys don't have that kind of judgement, and things can go horribly wrong when moving
