AB, We recently restored a c in rosewood from '87.
we would be happy to share any photos you may need. They were the ones with the wide thin capital.
We are supposed to make a visit to the piano itself soon. we could take some measurements then
I realy encourage you to restore the original leg and console system. They make a strong architectural statement. and the system is very stable. The piano doesn't get wiggling when played.

Chupp had originals!? wonderful good fortune. Steinway made a repro of this case style, and they got the proportions all wrong, a little like not quite understanding the classical order of acchitecture, and getting collums that look chubby. Of note, the extra consoles and shorter legs made for a very stable piano, with no real wobble, unlike modern spade legs. If you are having the action replaced, I would be interested in the old action parts.
