"Field Guide to PianoWorld Posters in the Wild (1st Edition)
This guide should prove useful in identifying the various varieties of Posters found in the wild environs of the Piano World Forums. It provides information such as their usual habitat, typical call, migration and feeding habits. Mating behavior is not covered in this guide, please see one of the many other guides on this topic available on the Internet at large.
The Lurker - This species rarely comes out of hiding and because of this not much is known about it's call or feeding habits. Occasionally some unknown factor will cause a Lurker to turn into another species; a process called 'migration' that also frequently happens in reverse.
The Troll - You can usually spot this colorful Poster flitting from topic to topic, injecting their attention grabbing challenge and then fleeing. Often you can observe them being chased by a collection of other species, merrily issuing their call from time to time at it's pursuers. This Poster feeds on disharmony and strife.
The Piano Pro - Identified by an extremely careful and muted chirping, this plainly plumed regular keeps order and dispenses useful information. Found mostly on the Piano or Pianist forum this stalwart feeds primarily on the success of others however known to occasionly snack on the glorification of whichever brand of piano they represent.
The Amature - Similar to the pro but less plainly plumed. Easily identified by the inconsistant opinions, random errors of fact and it's constant and over-enthusiastic chirping. You can find the Amature were ever the Pro's are roosting.
The Newbie - Hard to miss this common breed. Often a migratory Lurker the eager Newbie can be found flitting all over the place leaving 'traces' behind.. Usually migrates back to being a Lurker in a very short time although some have been known to mature into Amatures or several of the other species. Feeds on whatever is available indiscrimately.
The Adult Beginner - Occasionally found wandering elsewhere the Adult Beginner (AB) mostly sticks to their home territory, the AB Forum. Strangly plumed and behaved, these 'old birds' are often found chirping out encouragement to each other between random bouts of self doubt and excitement. Their leader seems to be one Mr. Super-Hunky who can be seen occasionally prancing around in a speedo.
The Pianist - Identified by it's distictive but somewhat repetative call (usually something like 'Litz, Litz, Bach, Litz', it varies from poster to poster), these plucky peckers are found mostly in their home habitat the Pianist Corner. Often these posters are confused and think of themselves as Piano Pros as well, but this can be forgiven as most other poster species are confused and believe they are Pianists.
The Sock Puppet - Difficult to identify, the actual number of Posters of this type is unknown. Look for a single set of visits over a short time, irrationally vocal support of another Poster or Piano Brand and hidden adgendas. Some deny the existance of this species altogether. Feeds on unknown.
This Field Guide is not intended to be exhaustive, but should serve to get you started classifying and observing the Piano World Forums Habitat."
