I returned to the piano 6 months ago after a 10 year break and have been self-teaching so far. Today I went to visit my original teacher who I haven`t seen in all that time, the teacher who took me through my grades 1-3. She seemed as excited as me, gave me a bit of Bach and I hit her with Moonlight 3rd (to the first repeat) which she seemed impressed with though I struggled bigtime on her very heavy piano (it was a joke if I`m honest). We arranged a bi-monthly 1 hour lesson so I hope to make some really serious progress from now on :-)

I am so thrilled with this I can`t describe it!

She even lent me a brand spanking copy of Hanon - trying to tell me something maybe, heh!
