hi there, im interested in playing a song or two on the piano & hopefully learn as I go along how to read music...

If you need some online help with reading music, there are tons of websites around. A simple google search 'reading music' had ones like this:

The last one might be a bit baby-ish, but it is a bit of fun, and helps recognise notes. (and I spent a little while trying it today - all in the name of research, of course)
