FINALLY! Now that my new studio equipment is all set up, I'm was able to make a new video! I have been working on this song for a about a month or so now. Some may not be familiar with it. It's a popular Chinese song called "Tong Hua" by Michael Leung, who's just awesome. Well, here's my interpretation of it \:D . Oh, and January 7th made a year of my playing the piano! Woooo!

Let me know what you think!

For someone only playing one year your touch and feel of the music is quite impressive.

You playing was very melodic with a beautiful feel for the music and how you brought it out.

Keep it up, at this rate in another year you will have passed most of us.

Yes. Please, don't stop!

Makes me wonder where I would be if I actually did practice for at least an hour each day. I play every day but sometimes not for all that long. I'm sorta making that up a bit today with lots of practice trying to start something up for this up coming ABF recital. A good procrastinator hates a deadline like a recital so now I'm forced into action. \:\)

Very nice playing, Jnick! As I was listening to your video, my wife said it sounded good. She hasn’t said that about my playing in a while. \:D

Keep up the good work!

Rick

Thank you guys! Oh and Rick, tell your wife I said thanks! I guess that is quite a compliment \:D !

Anthony, sometimes you just gotta go with the flow. There have been DAYS when I just didn't feel like playing. If I forced myself to, things just ended REALLY bad. I look at it this way, if you do it when you feel like it; it's a hobby and becomes fun. If you do it because you're forced to...it's no longer fun; it's a job \:\(
