15. Kawaigirl1 - Winter Walk - Nevue[/b]

Kawaigirl1, the beauty of your play continues to captivate me. The soft, haunting melody you present evokes an image of a lonely man walking through a public park in a softly falling snow. Oblivious to all others the expression on his face shows agony as he contemplates a lost love. Not being close enough to see his eyes through the snow, I assume from his bowed head and slow, determined gait that tears swell. Your magnificent expressive touch paints him well. Your music is art to hear and is that of one with a fine ear for mood. Your playing is most moving. Thank you for sharing.

61. Oxfords Gal - Clowns OP 39 No. 20[/b]
Nice steady and even pace. Well accented.

62. bluekeys - Sonata in C (K545)[/b]
I thought parts of this were very good. You’re really not that far off. A little more work on the ornaments (trills) would help overall. It’s a wonderful piece to develop left hand strength.

63. Euan Morrison - Vesper (from Casino Royale)[/b]
This was very well done Euan. A lovely melody. Nicely controlled.

64. AdagioM/Michele - Vals No. 1 from Valses Poeticos[/b]
Michele, put down that yarn and those needles and get on that piano. This was beautiful and we must hear more from you. You have a great touch. Good work with the melody in the left hand.

65. Piano*Dad - Waltz in C-sharp minor Op. 64 no. 2[/b]
The opening theme was right on the money. The next section was pretty good, it sounded accurate, just lacking a bit of speed. Excellent on the slower middle section, the theme was very pure. All in all I’d say very good.

66. ddh - Daniel - Wiegenliedchen 124.6 (Little lullaby)[/b]
Very nicely done after only two years playing. The triplets were played very evenly.

67. cscl - Sonatina in C (Op. 36, No. 3, I-II)[/b]
Plumbers notwithstanding and for a mere 2 years this was excellent. Very musical. Great dynamic range. Just a few troublespots, but they seem easy enough to iron out.

68. polostrings - Imagine[/b]
I actually like your playing this a bit more up tempo than is usually performed. Very refreshing.

69. Kawai, Hi - Dragon Fly[/b]
A very spirited performance of this piece. Well accented. Aptly titled with respect to your playing.

70. Hisalone (Joel) - Bumble Boogie[/b]
Wow! Very cool. This sounds like a real workout. Energetic, excellent coordination between the hands. You barely missed a beat.

Undone: I enjoyed your comment about the age of the work and the piano. Even the Horace Waters is completely knackered, it means something to me to be hacking away at an instrument from the time when families more commonly made their own music at home.

I honor those who created this online recital. It's a fine use of the internet.

71. Mark... - Spooky Story & American Hymn[/b]
I love that rhythm of the “Spooky” piece. You showed a good sense of timing there and nice dynamics. The Hymn was pretty. I think you just need to smooth out the flow of the piece a bit more. I like the sound of your Kawai.

72. Mar_red - Moon River[/b]
I really like your style. Your musical tastes are very similar to mine. Some interesting improv work here as well. I would recommend for this piece that you slow the tempo down a little, more in a ballad style. I also have the FP-7 and love it.

73. IPIBAHN - Sandy - Tarantella - Prokofiev[/b]
Sandy, I think you’re being way too hard on yourself. This was played with spirit and excellent technique. I haven’t heard the piece played before, but the tempo seemed fine. I’ve worked on pieces for a lot longer than a few months so you still have the opportunity to increase the tempo if you like. It seems that you have the ability to handle that challenge.

74. bruceee - Prelude Op 28, No 20[/b]
I liked the way you took your time with this piece. The dynamics were just right as well. Nice work.

75. etorrales - Nocturn in Eb Major[/b]
Still one of my all time favorite classical pieces. You played this very well, under control, and handled some of the trickier phrasing effectively. I would just suggest a bit more variation in tempo in some spots (rubato).

76. Extraghost - River Flows In You[/b]
A pretty piece. I enjoyed the syncopated sections especially. You have an excellent touch.

77. Theowne - Prelude to the "Tombeau de Couperin" Suite[/b]
Are you kidding? Only 3 years experience? This was wonderful. Light and moving along with great acceleration. Terrific.
