Some of you may remember my post of a couple weeks ago about my M&H upright needing work done on the action. I went ahead and had it done. The action came back home on Friday, reinstalled and the piano tuned. Oh, my! I had not realized how "loose" the action had gotten. I suppose because it most likely happened over time and I just gradually got used to it. But now, it feels so much tighter and plays so nicely. Of course, the tuning helped the sound, as well! I spent a fair amount of time yesterday just playing around the keyboard- nothing in particular: scales and stuff, just getting the feel of it again. And today I played the few pieces I can for a good long while, and I have to say, I am very happy with the work that was done. It's nice to have my baby back in playing shape! \:D

That's wonderful, Mak! And to think you were contemplating the [said in a whisper] junk heap for it.

That's awesome Mak. The action is very important, should always be in good shape. If your Piano has a better sound now... Hey! That's just perfect! Enjoy!
