I have one too. It is a great piano for the price. I recommend trying it out in a store, if possible. The keyboard action of a piano is a very subjective matter, and it might not be your favourite.

Gyro, correct me if im wrong, but isn't the stand of the sp-250 a bit too high? i compared it with my parents acoustic, and it was about 10cm(give or take) higher. Now i got to use three pillows on the piano chair to get the piano-hand possition correct (to my standards).

The standard height from the floor to the
top of the keys on an acoustic piano is
28 to 29 inches; and the standard height
from the floor to the top of a solid
piano bench is about 18 1/2 inches.
With the stand assembled and fitted into
the recess on the bottom of the keyboard
unit and bolted in, I get a height of
28 5/8 in., which is right in the standard
range. If you're using a kitchen chair
as your bench instead of a regular piano
bench, then this would give a different
relative position when sitting at the keys.
Most kitchen chairs have a ht. from the
floor to the top of the seat of less than
18 1/2 inches (10 cm. less would be
about typical), so this may be why you
need to use pillows to get the right
relative sitting position at the keyboard.
