I am in the midst of preparing my grade 2 practical. Therefore need to have fingering chart of scale at least 2 octave for the majors and minors etc.

Any ideas where to locate this online?

There is one here...
http://www-student.furman.edu/users/r/rkelley/scalfing.htm

Examples are only one octave, but they end on the finger needed to continue through additional octaves.

An apple a day keep the doctor away,
A smile a day chase your sadness away,
A chat a day drive all loneliness away,
And a prayer a day never keep our Jesus away
And let's praise our Lord, our King, our God all the way ....

Hi Jac, I've sent u an email but seems like u did not receive. I stayed at woodland and I dont think I am taking exams as I am already 36. I learned more for my own interest whereas my daughter will.

By the way, do you think that it's really a waste of time and effort to get one grade per year ? I have read a number of articles from some other sources and sometimes one with the correct learning method they are able to get grade 8 in 2-3 yrs time.

Hi Chwee,

I think you should be giving some time of your own to think about if you want to pursue further.
Some people want to have a certification, some only to learn piano for leisure, however you may belong to group who in dilemma due to your age.

whatever it is don't be too rush in reach any decision.

It take me long to decide whether to go for grading.

P/S:But if you think 8 years is too long then it is too long,if you think you can do piano for less than 8 years then you can do it as well.

Just for info,i am giving myself approximately 8 years to complete my grade 8
