Oh yes, Ivory Dreams! This keeps me practicing, except tonight... I am working on a paper, actually just finished and it's 10:50PM and while I would love to get in 5 minutes, I have an early day tomorrow. And you know what, I'm going for 5 minutes!!!

I know exactly how you feel.

Yesterday morning started out like any other... I fixed my hubby's breakfast, laid out his warm winter clothes, and sat happily in my pajamas at the piano deep into my morning session as he leisurely prepared to leave for a fairly light day in his truck out on the road. The phone rang, and everything changed. We learned that he would need to go out of state to a particularly difficult location to bring back a really troublesome load. I grabbed up a pair of jeans, and the dogs leash, and we all went out the door together... (Yes, when your gone that long the dog has to go too). We got home this morning after 2 O'clock, we slept for a few hours and left again to complete the journey and rid ourselves of that load. We came back into the house only 2 hours ago, and I have already managed to slip in 20 minutes at the piano.

I toured 2 Southern states by truck and still got in 2 practice sessions in 2 days. :2hearts:

Life is 2 good!

Oh my gosh! I can't complain:-) I have a hard enough time just getting back and forth to work
72 miles round trip and you toured 2 states! WOW!
and got in practices.

I look to my piano as a relaxation tool, especially when I have rough days, which seem to be gettin rougher!!!

Yes, "Life is 2 good" and Life is too short to not have some piano time!

Take care!

Hey Mark,

The year is almost out and I'm still plugging away.

I know this sounds corny, but there have been days when I thought I'd just relax and watch some TV and got up to practiced just so wouldn't miss a single day.

So far, I'm still batting 1000.

Just an update on MOYD.

At the beginning of this and next years MOYD thread the 2008 MOYD sigs will be available to those who have earned them.

The person who makes them is very busy til the end of the year and I then hope to have a combined 07, 08 MOYD sig for those who would like them. I also asked her to make them a little smaller. I recieved some feed back that people would like them smaller.

2009 MOYD sign up should go up around the 26th...

So finish strong, you have 9 days to go.

Happy Holidays...

Mark...the MOYD keeper... \:D

I just wanted to say THANKS!

This has been a wonderful motivation for me. If the house doesn't burn down, or I fall dead... I am confident that I also have preservered!

Oh, wait.... either of those will put me on the "excused list".

Well, I looked through the OP and the last couple pages here, and now I'm feeling dense.

What is the proper method for using these in your sig? (sorry if this has been answered somewhere obvious)

Thanks!
