Add me to the list. Practicing is not my problem. I enjoy it. Getting me to the piano bench is another issue. When I'm practicing, time flies, and I conclude with a sense of accomplishment. I don't know why I too often don't make time for it.

Does anybody know a good blog style site I can use to keep track for myself? Post all my recording and videos on and all that. As well as keeping track of practice, of course.

Count me in. I will need to practice everyday if I am going to accomplish my goals next year. This will help me stay accountable.

OK, judgement call here: I started on December 8 and have been faithful everyday--except Xmas Eve and Xmas Day. Had the 4 and 2 year old grandchildren here plus some "intestinal distress." Really wanted to get to the keyboard--right there in the next room, but just no time to myself. I'll fess up to failure if need be. What do you think?

I'm in! Does it count if I can get my six year old son to the bench and not me?? He started in April 2007 and is doing well, if I can just get him to practice. Six year old boys prefer their trucks and trains rather than practicing their piano lesson.

Sorry you have to play everyday, but we can add him to the list...

I am in again. I tried hard in 2007 but didn't make it. It's 11 a.m. (EST), and I am minutes away from beginning. Happy New Year to all.

I debated for a couple of days whether or not to join but count me in too! It sounds like a good motivator for me on those days where I'm not sick or out of town but just feeling rather blah. Hopefully, MOYD 2008 will encourage me to play/practice on those days (which are few and far between).

I just tried to log my first practice but it doesn't appear to have 'written'. Like, I can't see it anywhere and there is generally no trace of it.

Can we look back over our records?

Looks like the last time you practiced was on Jan 1, 2007.

I seem to remember that you had to be very careful to enter the dates correctly on the practice log.

Not sure. I don't run the log. You might be looking at 2007. Make sure you use the right date. I still log in under my old user name...Mark737
