How many minutes, approximately, do you practice each day?

I try to practice/play 30 minutes per day during the week and 2 to 4 hours on Saturday and Sunday.
I stick to my plan about 75% of the time.
Sometime I can't play at all (when I travel), sometime I can only play 15 minutes, which is better than nothing.

I probably log about 30 quality (albeit usually not continuous) minutes every other day.

That's about 1/3 the amount of practice time I would like to put in.

my keyboard is right beside my working desk, so whenever i feel like it, ill turn my chair around and ill play some stuff.

so i dont keep track. I play when i feel like it. Isnt that what a hobby should be about?

I try to get in at least an hour a day. Most of the time its a little over. Sometimes I take off Sunday. My lesson is usually on Saturday so I work up to it each week.

Same as Frycek I believe, but more extreme; 0 - 10.

90 minutes/day on week days. About 3 hours/day on weekends.

I'd love to practice more but with my job it's impossible. I only work the usual 40 hours/week, but ridiculously distributed!

I can usually get at least one twenty minute session in per day. I try for two twenty minute ones per day though. I've just started lessons.

3 hours. My playing doesn't really reflect it, but that's how long I do it. Maybe that "quality" thing is getting in the way! smile

That depends on how much time I have. During the school year (I teach high school science) I'm lucky if I get an hour a day. Weekends, maybe 2 hours.

During the summer - anywhere from 1 to 5 hours.

Every minute on the piano is a quality minute for me, with the possible exception of the 647th showdown with the Red Dot.

During the week, depending on kids' homework and sports activities, I may get in as little as 10 minutes and a maximum of an hour. On weekends I try to play 2-3 hours a day, spread across several sessions.

As far as quantity, I can usually find at least an hour. I never count or log or anything like that. I force myself to play even if I'm tired at least 30 minutes each day. I use digital if it's late.

On average, it's usually 90-120 minutes during the week. Weekends are harder, I get 90 minutes max.

I'm a snacker when it comes to practicing as I play constantly throughout the day but only for 5-10 minutes at a time.

Still, this DOES add up and I will do this literally all day long. When I wake up, before breakfast, after breakfast, before lunch, potty breaks, after lunch etc, etc.

I've been told that short spurts throughout the day can keep your mind and fingers warmed up and ready but who knows.

3 to 4 hours daily in 2 or 3 separate sessions - 7 days a week - early morning session usually the longest and most productive.

45 minutes in the morning before work and about an hour at night that seems to be enough for my limited attention span

I do very little that could be termed "practice"; I prefer "real" playing. I have five to ten minutes in the morning on my silent practice clavier most days, which activity is sufficient to keep my physical technique at an operative level. Once at the piano I like to make music.
