Mahlzeit, I have not downloaded your program yet. Presently I have a Yamaha CVP-307 with a USB outlet. I stick a flash memory stick into the CVP and record Midi then save it to the memory stick. Then, for backup I insert the memory stick into the laptop and transfer the files.

My question is where would I be ahead using the Red Dot Forever? In other words what else can your program help me do?

Hey joemoshi,

I don't really see any benefit in you using Red Dot Forever in this case. You can already record on your piano, which is as good as it gets.

The only advantage is that you no longer would have to transfer the files using the memory stick, but that doesn't sound like such a big deal...

Not everyone has a sequencer in their piano, though. smile

Hey kids!

New version of Red Dot Forever out today! smile

It took a while but I have finally added support for "MIDI triggers", which allow you to control Red Dot directly and conveniently from your keyboard or digital piano. You can set up triggers for RECORD, STOP, and PLAY. This saves you some going back and forth between the piano and the PC.
