This custom search works much better than the built in one and allows searching older posts.

how do I retrieve a private message?

Gee whiz I hate to show my computer ignorance to the whole world -- but I just changed my profile to allow myself to send a private message to another piano forum member. And I'm wondering,
if the forum member replies -- how will I know?
Does a message show up on my regular email at home? Do I look somewhere special in this forum?
Thanks in advance for a bit of help for an aging
pianist! (I can play the piano -- but I'm really not very proficient on computers!)

On top of the page, somewhere near the "Piano World Forum" big letters, click on the my profile link. Any private message you get should show up in the page.
