Anyway, it is very nice to know that you ARE capable of smiling!

I thought you had a nice setup as well Monica. I've always wanted a baby grand in a little corner of the house somewhere.

Oh and M-S-H. You were right, you weren't far off from the picture I posted, but you look a little more refined than the guy in my post. What year is that photo from (the muscle shot)?

Euan, you look very handsome in your kilt!! Thanks for sharing that! I have a friend from Scotland who teaches English here in Japan, and he says that he always has "provide a kilt picture" when he has new students etc. Once, when he confessed that he didn't have a kilt here with him in Japan, he said several students were so disappointed that it kind of ruined the entire lesson and instead of doing the planned conversation exercises, they spent the rest of the lesson working silently in the workbook! :p

Re KJC, it took me an embarassingly long time to get the joke-- adult-beginners forum, adult films, right? no? sorry, I'm slow!! \:\)

Ok, I am off to look for a photo to share here. Though in the meantime, if you haven't already, please take a look at my web page linked here, it has a photo of me.

Sharon
(Don't nobody notice the messy room, thanks).
BTW: That's the old acoustic - the nice new PX100 is upstairs.

Special thanks to:
Super-Hunky for this really fun thread idea. Genius.

Special thanks to Andrew - a.k.a. Shortcircuit85 - for without your "instructions" it never would have been possible to post up these pix.
\:D

Edit (next day): Mr. S-H - I didn't notice your original post of "how-to" post up the pix - that was great. \:\)

Ok, this picture is terrible quality and is about 5 years old. I rarely let my photo be taken and this is the only picture I could find on my computer that had me in it! I have a few more current ones on my camera, but the flash disk doesn't work with my new laptop!! ugh!

*edit*-made image smaller and a little darker \:D

Bob, where's your pipe?

Monika, that Glenn Gould picture looks impressive. I need a picture of Bach above the piano to add seriousness to my portaits and inspiration to my playing.

Wow! You're right, that's really weird, I'm a 51 years old male.

I think this must be one of those Dorian Gray things.

That picture is showing who I really am in piano years.

Lee - Right on!

LOL. Very nice pix. You weren't humble as a winner of the race? Shocking. You're usually a very humble, quiet, chap... duh????

That's a good shot of the PX100 in the gym and the other piano is nice, too. I like the parquet floors in the house. Well done.
