Does anyone know of a good interactive website for learning bass clef? Treble clef is so firmly ingrained in my head that I am really finding bass difficult. I made up flashcards, but it's more fun with the computer. Most of my troubles are those outside the staff. Within the staff I'm ok. Bass clef G still looks like treble clef E to me, but I'll figure it out.

NoteCard is a small free program (Windows only) which you download. It operates much like flashcards, and has a few options.

It really doesnt take so very long to learn the staff notes. We do count up All Cows Eat Grass, or Good Boys Do Fine Always for a short time, but then very soon, you "just know" already, on both staffs.

It just takes time. I have been playing just over a year and I now have a pretty good grasp of the notes and I am starting to gain an understanding of timing. I keep a copy of a page from one of my early lesson books on the music desk that I refer to. I had a very hard time early on, just be patient, play daily and it will come.

This website has some awesome trainers and lessons. As a beginner, it was fun and easy to sit at the computer at any time and practice the notes, keys, scales, etc...

Masama, I loved that site! I downloaded it and it's become a challenge for me to stay about 90%! It allows me to choose how many ledger lines above and below the staff I wish to go and it keeps a running total of how well I do! I love it!

I'm picking up bass cleff fairly quickly. If I'm not fully concentrating though, I will revert back to treble clef. It isn't so much that I don't know the notes in bass clef as that I've been playing a treble clef instrument for 20 years now and have only dabbled in piano. I always thought I could read bass clef, but recently realized that with beginner music I can pretty much plant my thumb on C and read patterns. I think I have quit in the past because as I progressed, it became more difficult to read patterns and I needed to actually be comfortable with the notes. This time around, I'm doing whatever it itakes.

This is a very good one as it displays the whole set of 88 keys so we can click the actual keys instead of the alphabet.

Will be even better if we can practise directly on our piano but my comp is in the hall whilst my piano is in my room.
