Wow, I've been up for 5 and a half hours and I just realized what I dreamed last night. Finally I had my first piano dream. I was dreaming I was in this huge mansion with indoor courtyards and decorated like it was in those old English mansions in the early 1900's I was either staying or visiting. I don't know where it was or what I was doing there. In one room there was a grand piano and there was a pianist visiting as well and I caught how she was playing the piano. I observed her hand position and how she touched the keys. I couldn't see her just her hands. I then went to that room that night and I asked the lady of the mansion if I could play the piano. All I remember was the anticipation of trying her technique. It was exhilarating and I just couldn't wait to sit at the piano. I don't remember anything else except that I either woke up or went to another dream because I never got to sit and try it out. I wonder if Monica, could decipher what that was all about. hmmm

Oh I hate when that happens-when you wake up at a crucial point in a dream. But that sounds like a really interesting dream. It seems to represent the journey you are on and that you are just about to make an important breakthrough. Just curious-do you have a teacher now? Or, is there someone else that inspires you? It seems like you might learn something that will take you to the next level from an unexpected source - and most likely a woman.

Hi Kymber, Your interpretation is very interesting. thanks for taking the time. I do have a brilliant piano teacher. She's 73 and has been playing since she was 5. She played the piano and organ for her church and performed as well. I admire her I truly do. In addition she's an outstanding teacher who always pushes me to the limit. I've progressed so much with her due to her teaching style. She assigns pieces that develop technique and musicality in each individual. Now that I think about it, I do sometimes ask her to play something for me and I look at her hands so intently almost like I'm looking at germs under a microscope.

Oh My Quiescene, the piano is dead on. The girl, well I'm not sure I never did see her. I just saw her hands. The whole atmosphere of the picture though is like in the dream.
