Sorry Monica: I do remember being chided about that once before. I promise to cooperate in all future postings. Kathleen "chide" to reproach in a usually mild and constructive manner. (I don't want anyone thinking Monica was scolding me or that I took it as such).

You gotta be a Packer fan, right?? I heard on the radio yesterday that we are going through the longest stretch of ultra cold weather since 1997! Yikes. I wish the Bears were playing some team like the Miami Dophins, and the game was in Chicago. Da Bears are used to this weather. And I think it was, in a small part, responsible for "Sending the Saints Going Marching Home.! Kathleen

More like a Packer-Backer (some fans jump on and of the wagon as needed) I give da Bears credit, I really think they earned it, and I think they'll win. We'll (Packer-Backers) have a hard time living that down!!

Kathleen, The ONLY time I would EVER root for the Colts is when they're playing the Ravens. You've got to put orange lights in all your windows!! Daria

A couple of years ago I had a Super Bowl party, but a few guests (not really football fans) wandered over to the piano throughout the evening and played.

"scope out their legs." ??? Monica...look around and see if 10 points of YOUR IQ is missing. PackerBaker: Thanks, I hope da Bears win because my poor daughter (who, would you believe, married...not only a Packer Backer but also a White Sox fan) will have to live with her husband "ha ha'ing" her for weeks to come. She has been a HUGE sports fan (Cubs and Bears and Bulls) since she's been 7. Knew all the stats, etc. Everyone in our family would have to call her when there was a question about anything relating to these teams. The last time da Bears won (gosh was it 25 years ago?), we were invited to this fancy, smancy mansion, right off Lake Michigan, and it was about 20 below zero...without the wind chill. The guys kept opening the patio doors to get the beer off the deck and everytime they did, a blast of artic air would freeze my nose closed!! Gosh, what fond memories!! Daria: Great little cartoon, but not too great of an idea of putting orange lights in the windows. It's freezing out there!! Sorry Ragnhild: Super Bowl Sunday (and I am not a very good fan...more of a fickle fan, if you get my mearning) is THE BIGGEST DAY IN THE US IN ALL OF SPORTSDOM. The TV commercials are so clever and cute, that they often win Oscar-type awards. One 10 second commericial on Super Bowl Sunday can cost about a zillion dollars or something. Crazy. Da Bears have a lot of cute players, but I doubt if they will be wearing shorts. And I don't know about the piano. Tend to doubt it, but you never know. Matt: I'd rather be playing the piano also, but my husband would probably divorce me...at least temporarily. Colin: Football by piano...something like dinner by candlelight. You have some smart friends. Kathleen

That's might be more difficult than my trying to play all of Chopin's 300+ compositions. Kathleen

Well, I'm a long way from either Indy or Chicago. We do have a local fellow who plays for the Bears, though (Cedric Benson.) So, I guess I'm (more or less) hoping they win.
