It's only 10:00pm in Oregon and you've already removed the January List from the database! I have more time to log in and now I can't see my final standing for the month!! \:\(

Still here. Have to admit though, been away from the piano on occassion, but have been reading the Beethoven book by Maynard Solomon. Has anyone read it? Not exactly easy reading.

This is great for me. What I lack in total time in my daily practice I make up for with a total void of talent.

I'm out as of yesterday. That's what a 16 hour day at the office will do for you.

Just a reminder to those who are out of the MYOD contest, that we still have our month-by-month minutes practiced challenge going on. Log your time on the practice log database. \:\)

...are all "here"--as in, "still in" the MOYD contest. Is this correct? Did I miss someone?

BTW, I have to admit, that I am "still in" technically as of yesterday (Jan. 31). I haven't practiced yet today, so I could be off the list by this time tomorrow. Of course, I don't plan to be off the list, and expect to practice after I get home this evening!

Cheers!

Let's see . . .

:counts on fingers:

You arrive at the office at, oh, maybe 6 a.m. You leave the office at 10 p.m.

And the reason you can't practice is -- ?

Sorry, Jon. Nice practice streak, though!

How do you do that?

Barely hanging in there. I don't know if I will make it through february.
I've also read that it's good that you rest a day so that all the practice you did can sink in (hint, hint...).

Yes, I'm barely hanging in. I practiced my competition pieces and my hanon so I'm hoping this counts. Well, I read up on some composers from a book my teacher let me borrow too so, yup.
