...are all "here"--as in, "still in" the MOYD contest. Is this correct? Did I miss someone?
BTW, I have to admit, that I am "still in" technically as of yesterday (Jan. 31). I haven't practiced yet today, so I could be off the list by this time tomorrow. Of course, I don't plan to be off the list, and expect to practice after I get home this evening!
Cheers! tk

Jon: That's what a 16 hour day at the office will do for you. Let's see . . . :counts on fingers: You arrive at the office at, oh, maybe 6 a.m. You leave the office at 10 p.m. And the reason you can't practice is -- ? Sorry, Jon. Nice practice streak, though!

How do you do that? I'm still in, as are my daughters. I may even use the database in February. Barely hanging in there. I don't know if I will make it through february. I've also read that it's good that you rest a day so that all the practice you did can sink in (hint, hint...).
Sorry about the mistakes...

Yes, I'm barely hanging in. I practiced my competition pieces and my hanon so I'm hoping this counts. Well, I read up on some composers from a book my teacher let me borrow too so, yup. Prophetic - Here.

No, just trying to keep your butt in sight. I'm not going to get much practice time in today, it's girls night out tonight, my once a month outing.

I am determined! I am shooting for 2+ hours per day this month. I have festival on March 5. I have to go into a sound proof room with two judges. Required piece is Mighty Avalanche and my Choice Piece is Chopin Prelude in E minor. Must get a Superior Rating this year! I only got an Excellent this last year. Katie has 5 superiors in a row and is going for her second gold cup this year! I am so incredibly proud of her! Out teacher is starting her on Debussy's Children Corner this week! http://www.nfmc-music.org/

Good luck, Mark. Katie will love Children's Corner. The only one I have done is Golliwogg's Cakewalk and I love it. Need to bring that one back. Keep practicing!

Man - I thought sure I'd catch up with Markjpcs tonight. HUbbie was gone until seven so I played all the time and what to my surprise - he's still ahead. I think it's WAR! I just wish all my practice would render me as accomplished as Markjpcs.
