I've got a bone to pick with Agilita. Ya stole my avatar, Ma'am, and this town ain't big enuf fer both our mugs. Now, I've been known to switch avis from time to time for kicks, and I'm a veritable chameleon over at the other place, but here - that mug is me, and has been for 3 years and 6000+ posts - and it is confusing the heck out of me to see me saying things that I don't remember saying.

Futhamore, Miss Agilita, you may want to think about the consequences of being confused with moi. I've got a long history here, and it ain't all real pretty. So, for confusion's sake, one of us should change our avatar. Who's it gonna be - you or me?

Of course you did, David. These avatars come to have very, very strong associations - not that they can't be broken. Yours, for example, belonged to JA - an old time, prolific, but departed PW poster. You've been using it long enough now, and he's been gone long enough, that I now associate it with you. But it is a little rattling to have another "you" prowling about.

I actually tried changing mine for good a few times back. In the era of the knock down, drag out CR fights, I thought she looked like a bit of a hardened crank, and thought the avi change might soften my image. ) But I'd inevitably get certain people (JF being the most vocal) who'd harp on me to change it back.

John, you just gave me a great idea - we've had talks of having a PW chorus before, we could be the "OK Chorale," huh?

I agree, people should have their own pictures in the Avatar and should not be allowed to use Avatars made famous by others!

I tried using the Mr Super Hunky Avatar for a little while, it was just too much.
