Like an idiot, I bought some Alfred's books from Amazon (Book 1, Book 2 and All-In-One - overkill, I know). I was ordering Christmas presents and thought I would save some shipping by getting the books from them.

Now I see that nearly every piece is supported by a song on a CD. And, of course, Amazon didn't provide any CD's - although I didn't see anything in their advertising materials about them - nor do they seem to even offer them.

Anyone know of a source for just the CD's without having to buy the packages over again from a legitimate seller of music books? Might they be found online? (I doubt it what with copyright restrictions)

Not an idiot at all buddy. I do not own the cds, but I remember reading that they were not that great.

Check out these threads:

Also, you can go to Alfreds webpage and order just the CDs. No need to purchase the books again. I think just about every piece in the first two books are represented in the above threads, not sure about book 3 (I am not there yet....)

Hope this helps..

Thank you very much, Dave. Yes, I think the videos are even better than the straight audio.
