Dear Monica and Members, I just read your post Monica that you are an avid George Winston fan. So am I. I had the great pleasure of attending his performance in the early 90's... in St Augustine Florida...The school of the Deaf and Blind. This is where Ray Charles studied piano for years. He was appx 8 years old when he first attended this school to appx 15 years old. Back to George Winston. He came onto the stage in his socks, no shoes. He played his Autumn he created and other selectios he composed. When he played a Boogie Woogie piece we listeners were so overwhelmed, it was excellent. I read he is self taught at the piano but knew theory from his guitar days.Have you seen him live? Sandy B
