So what do ya'll think? I've written the seller asking for the provenance of this item and why he identifies it as a portrait of Chopin.

I'd say the man looks to be in his late 20's, early 30's. Chopin was living with that woman during this time period, age-wise.

That woman (that's what Frycek and I call her) often referred to him as a "...corpse."
