So what do ya'll think? I've written the seller asking for the provenance of this item and why he identifies it as a portrait of Chopin. The response: found it in the trash and it looks like him. Mel, you got that right. I'd say the man looks to be in his late 20's, early 30's. Chopin was living with that woman during this time period, age-wise. That woman (that's what Frycek and I call her) often referred to him as a "...corpse." Sweet lady! Kathleen
