Sorry if this is in the wrong section, still getting the ropes around here. Also I'm not fluent in English, it's not my first language, bear with me!

I have made a return to my piano and I'm going great. 12 years on and off, but what I want to know is how to get started playing anything.

I enjoyed playing but I never really wanted to get tied to sheet music. I want to learn improv piano. And how to improv from nothing at all.

(Since my piano is digital I am able to use back tracks and midi's along with several of instruments.)

Here is a style I want to learn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz7noYMP5pA

Not that its from a game, but the high-up-beat rock sort of stuff. Can anyone give me a style and shove me in the right direction? I am willing to put forth the effort, but I am clueless.

If you are to point me to courses, can they be free? I am only 15, and I'm too young for a job in my area so I can't buy anything. Thanks~

There are books and DVDs and etc. that teach something along the lines of what you want. Go on Amazon and search on Piano Lessons and read the descriptions and reviews. Then it's possible that your local library can find something similar through an inter-library loan service, or you might check the used books sales through amazon or sites like abe.com.

If you can learn how to map guitar chords to piano, you can get a lot of information from guitar tablature sites like chordie.com. You might need a music theory book to help, but that's another library possibility.

Good luck.

There is a piano teacher named Andrew Furmanczyk (he is based in Canada) who has his videos on YouTube. That is one free source, and I found his videos to be good. keep in mind that online courses do not replace needed instruction as far as hand positioning which you may need to take lessons at first.
