Thanks, but there seems to be a problem with the NPR site. When I click on the link for the music learning segment, I get a segment on the death of VHS tapes instead confused .

I didn't have any problem pulling it up. It's a nice story.

It mentions lack of patience and fear of failure as primary issues for adults which I believe is correct. One thing it missed is that adults tend to have greater ability to focus for longer periods of time. I think that is the one signicant advantage I have over my thirteen year-old son when it comes to practicing and learning.
