I kind of lost track as to who is doing what piece so for now I'm submitting Golden Slumbers which was the first song contributed when I joined the forum. More will follow. Probably Maxwell's Silver Hammer and one other. Everything so far has been terrific. This was a great idea.

1. "Yesterday" - Beautiful ! Paul would be proud.

2. "And I Love Her" - And I loved it; great job.

3. "The Long and Winding Road" - What a beautiful version. Very, very, nicely done. I wish I could play it like this.

Thanks for the McCartney Hat-Trick Trio, Serge88 thumb thumb thumb !

"Golden Slumbers" - Thanks for adding this great interpretation. You started playing it straight, but then you added some great personal touches.
Great!

Looking forward to your further additions on this thread!

mikenz - very cool! It has a real Billy Preston feel to it. I am impressed by folks who can use the advanced features of a digital piano.

Elssa, this is a wonderful rendition. I have heard 'Lady Madonna' many times played on the piano but this version is nice in that it carries the melody for a soloist. Superb! Are you working from a printed arrangement?

Thanks, Ragtime! I redid it and tried to cut down the strings this time.

Lady Madonna

I actually got most of the bass line from one of the arrangements at www.musicnotes.com I then added in my own right hand and a few other things.

Mahlzeit, this is a beautiful rendition of a fantastic Lennon track from a brilliant album. Is this from printed music, what key is it in and how long did it take to figure it all out?

Elssa:

I didn't include your first "Lady Madonna" on my first post because I could not open it, but I included your second one. Great work on one of my favorites! Send some more!

Thanks, Ragtime! smile

I didn't really know this was written by John Lennon. I first heard this song on a recording by Jackson Browne. I played it by ear, probably in the key of C because that is what I usually play in -- hmm, actually it's probably in A minor -- and it didn't take very long to figure out. Although it probably helps if you know how to play by ear or have a program such as Transcribe! to help you transcribe it. laugh

Hey Lee:

Thanks for the Piano Magical Mystery Version! Nice one!

(Please make sure you check out my first post. Your song "Can't Buy Me Love - by the Sea!" is the only song ever with four of these things **** meaning its the only
song composed by Lennon/McCartney/Seaside Lee!)
