Hi Everybody,

I have already mentioned some about me in other posts, but well, I am adult re-starter who left piano 10 years ago, and at that time I did not learn that much really.

I am going to start lessons next week, and I have practiced a little with a book and easy lessons, which for me were not easy at all.. even simple things appear complicated by now.

But.. I tryed to play somo pieces that I could play well 10 years ago.. and for my own surprice, I can play it (more or less). For example, L'arabesque of Burgmüller.

My question is, if do you think that I should go directly to this difficult level (not that difficult, but for me it is) and re-start from there, or better, for the wellness of my technique and knowlege, start from the absolute begginig.

Thanks a lot.

Audition for your teacher and let him/her make his/her recommendations - consider it and if it sounds reasonable and makes sense go with it

Regards, JF

P.S. then bring it back here for our highly professional appraisal, subsequent pedogogically sound modifications and warm-hearted approval ;\)
