Hello everyone!
Iím 14th years old, and I started in summer to play piano because I started to listen on Mozart. I liked him so mutch that I started with piano. My mum can piano very well, pluss I have a teacher too. When I read about many famous people and composers, ALL OFF THEM start when they are 6, 5 etc. I feel that I have started too late \:\( . Is it too late to be very good?
Bye bye, must go too bed. Hehe! Bye!

Welcome Wolfi. If you check out the FAQ section this question has been answered before. If you are considering a life of concertizing, then you may be a little late. However, I believe there are some who started late and were still successful concert pianists.
But, if you're interested in playing piano to enjoy music, then don't worry about your age and just practice, learn, and enjoy yourself.
By the way, your English is excellent, your parents should be proud.

Remember this Wolfi, George Gershwin started playing piano at 10 and look what he accomplished in his short life. It is never too late to dedicate yourself to pursuing something you love, just enjoy and stay focused on your goals.

I know someone who took lessons from age 9 or so through high school. He then lived his life, playing off and on. He retired at age 69, resumed lessons, practiced a lot, and made it to the 2004 Van Cliburn Amateur competition at age 73.

Nah, 14 isn't too late to become excellent.

All it means to start at age 14 is that you have 50, 60, 70, or more years to get good.

It's not too late to be quite good. I started at 14 too and graduation recital included Chopin Polonaise, Op. 53; MacDowell Witches Dance (Hexentanz); Chopin Waltz, Op. 42; Chopin Etudes; Liszt Eb Concerto (all of it) and few more things. Went on to college, Europe (Vienna), Chicago, etc., for further study. You can really make progress if you're serious and work. Otherwise not. But, if you like it, go as far as you want with it. It depends on two things primarily--your willingness to work and some semblance of talent. The third thing would be a good teacher who can direct you in the proper way. Good luck and go for it.
