Yes yes and yes!!! I often re-read it to help myself or one of my students with problems. The stretches are helpful, especially when you play or practice for a lng time, like when preparing for exams or having a string of at least 3 performances in a short period of time. I have even given this book as a gift to a couple of my musician friends.

Another book along the same lines is Playing Less Hurt by Janet Horvath.

Also check out Philip Johnston's Practiceopedia--I just finished reading this and it's charged mine and my students playing when some of the ideas are applied.
