Should I count notes in the song that I have played(I renember the rythm)

I also count a song with sixteen notes in a diffrent way compared to a song with mostly eighth notes
I hope there is nothing wrong with that.

Counting is always a good idea. Do you have a metronome? I find it helpful to 'test' myself with the metronome for pieces I think I remember the rhythm for....the metronome isn't very forgiving.....

I don't think there's anything wrong with adjusting your counting for different note values but eventually it's a good idea to count only the actual time signature values to 'feel' the beat the way the listener is supposed to hear it.

Counting is helpful as tool to help you to understand rhythm (even if its for a single difficult measure). Once you understand it, however, its not as helpful.

Its similar to using a crutch when you have a sprained ankle. Its helpful at the time, but once the ankle has healed, you don't need it anymore.

Feeling rythm is, for example, a knowledge how dotted eighth note before and after sixteenth note sounds. It is something like that?

I have been playing with a metronome since I started to play piano. At the beginning I was afraid of using it. Now, I connot imagine my practice without this tool.
