To Carol, Cheryl, Apple, and other new friends

Well, thank you, thank you, one and all
You’ve made me now feel six feet tall!

Although I’m only five foot 1,
I feel that wonders you have done..

You’ve changed my mood from frown to smile, smile
your kindness makes me change my style:

So off go I, with happy heart, heart
and all my anguish gone.

PS.
And kind thanks to mr super-hunky, another one who dares to care, for giving me this opportunity of pouring my heart out, and for making this one thing possible..
ha

Oh, many thanks, my dear Canone,
Your welcone warm leaves me not wan.

Your joyous stars have made my day –
how could I stay away, forlorne?

As colours flashed and echoed on
all faces shone – assent was shown
Conegrats, to you, our dear Canone,

Your sparkling initiation event
Was certainly a sum well spent -

This special rite costs lots of money,
But so, so right and - so, so funny!

So let us now propose a toast:

"What better way to make the most
of Maharishi’s One Hundredth post!!"

Oh Canonie,
Forgive my spelling -
I couldn’t think, for someone yelling.

Now, woe is me; I am undone:
Forgot to post my 101!

So all I have is 102 –
pray do not say it just won't do.

But thank you for the bouquet dear,

What else to bring one joy and cheer?!

Happy 11/1! (Sadly, I glanced at the clock at 1:11 am and missed the chance to post while the clock had even more ones!) We'll just have to wait until 11:11 for someone to fix that! smile

If 111111 is binary, that would convert to 63 in decimal and 3F in hexadecimal.

6 + 3 = 10 - 1 (this equation is superfluous regarding this thread's protocols)

Here is a brief summary of my 2011 so far for me.

12:00 - 1:00. Played the final set of new years eve show at a local bar as keyboard player for a 5 piece classic rock band.
1:00 - 2:00. Broke down all the equipment and loaded a keyboard, stand PA and speakers into my car.
2:00 - 3:00. Drove home and went to bed.
3:00 - 9:00. Tried to sleep but the songs were still running through my head keeping me awake.
9:00 - 10:00. Had breakfast and unloaded the gear from the car and carried it upstairs.
10:00-12:00 Why is it that when you play a late bar gig you wake up with a hangover even if you did not drink anything more than a small glass of champagne? Listened to the recording of the show I made on my Zoom H-4.
12:00-now (2:00 pm) Split the recording into 38 mp3 files, one for each song we played.

I'm glad tomorrow is a day off because I need to recover from the start of this year.

I'm waiting for the same day of the month in November this year...
