You never need a reason to compliment anyone, let alone the really, really deep people on the forum. :p I consider myself rather deep, or perhaps it's dense! I get the two mixed up. Thanks Kathleen

Kathleen - you're not dense - you're just fine *smile* Funburger - however did you know I was in the need or mood rather for company. hmmmmmm. Having said this, I may loose my "cool" status.... what, Sharon - you're in need of friendship? Yup. Just so bored out of my mind today. Cleaning like there's no tomorrow... waiting around to go out to dinner. Sort of, like - hmmmm. I don't know. Whatever. But in all honestly, I still do think this is a group of deep people. Deep thinkers. And/or people who think too much, perhaps. Eh? Anyway.... thanks for answering you guys so I don't look like a complete spazoid following my own post with my own comments. Later ..... Love.... -Sharon

Frycek.... (((HUG))) - I'm soooo sorry about your cat. 18 is getting up there. That's really hard. You know all the rest... the other cats will be like where's that one. A few days have passed, perhaps things are "back to normal" in your household. And I hope everything else is good at home, as well. Euan, it's hard to focus on stuff sometimes... and other times it's so easy to have it all roll off your shoulder. What else can I say. One of those days... right? We're gonna try the new Outback Steakhouse, they just opened around here. I better go put some heavy make up on and a lot of hairspray - I look like a freakin ghoul today. Maybe I'll even shower - .... surprise the hubby with a clean bod. Frycek - I way need a HUG - and here's one for you and Euan (((((HUG)))))). Here's one for you, too, Funburger ((HUGG)) and you, too, Kathleen ((((HUGG)))). What? I didn't shower... I will.... I will right now..... and I'll use deodorant - Old Spice - RedZone - pure sport - it's a man's deodorant - but I like it. Thank you, guys, Love, -Sharon

I like you, too, Rocky - thanks! Outback was packed - seemed everybody was there. No room even at the bar. The placed smelled soooo good, too. On well. So next time - and we'll try the blooming onion.... We went instead to Chillis (spelling). He had the NY Steak and I had grilled salmon, veggies, beans... and a double Southern Comfort rocks. I needed the drink like a hole in the head - but I also needed the buzz. (I better lay off the booze - that's 2 days in a row)... Anyway, tonight I hope I have good dreams. I hope you have good dreams, too! Thanks, Rocky.... Love, -Sharon

What a warm and fuzzy post! Fryek, so sorry about your cat. Our dog is nearly 12 and we think about this all the time. I'm sure you have many happy memories of your pet. Take care...

Frycek, so sorry to hear about your cat I know how difficult it is.
I put one of mine to sleep last year and had her cremated. So I still have her with me in a manner of speaking. I miss her still.
Hugs to everyone!

Frycek: about your cat. Any plans on getting another? A cute little kitten can do a lot to cheer you up but never gets the place of the cat you lost. Sharon and Everyone: This is as close as I could find to a group hug. It sort of looks like we're doing the "bunny hop." Kathleen

Hubby is itching to get a new reptile to replace Sonny. I'm not ready. Frycek a new kitty would be nice, and true, as Kathleen said, it won't take the place of the original, but it will fill the gap. Kathleen, really farout graemlin - ultra hugs. I wanted to dream last night about Sonny. I don't remember if I dreamt at all - I just think it was sleeping in dark all night. Perhaps tonight will be better. Have a nice day.

Sharon just lost her iguana, Sonny, a fine handsome reptile that she'd had for a long time. That was the reason for the commiseration. Thanks ya'll for your good wishes. The cat we put to sleep was Seth, a blue point Siamese. He was affectionately known as psychocat. He held verbal battles with the air, he fought imaginary enemies. He was really an affectionate bony old thing. He'd been failing for awhile but over the weekend he hemorrhaged and lost a lot of blood. We decided it was time. Yeah we miss him. He was one of our four cats though so we're not planning on getting another one. We have Purrface, a yellow tabby now 15 but who seems healty enough. Our other two are Punk, an odd eyed white aged three and Lenore, a solid black, better known as Kitty who is two. So after Purrface passes on we'll probably just keep Punk and Kitty. I personally like a herd of cats. I like to watch them interact. My husband thinks two is ideal and he's the one who's home all the time. Left to right Punk, Purrface, Ming (a sweetheart who is no longer with us either) and Seth in my battered kitchen

Frycek, I sent you a PM.
My blue point Siamese, Kitty, was also 18 when she died.

Frycek - your family of cats (yes... I understand one is no longer with you) is very handsome, indeed. Sort of scary in a way... all those animal personalities hanging out... at once... Not something I'm used to, here. Awww... Well.... tis the end of the weekend... and tomorrow is work.... This has been a very strange weekend post wise to say to least (for me at least)... but because we ARE a DEEP GROUP OF PEOPLE - we have all gotten together and showed the spirit of good will towards human and animal kind. And how we suffer and hopefully bounce back from events that are sometime beyond our control... sometimes. Peace to all and to all a good nite. BTW: Frycek - I like the touch on the table - great basket - such lush, ripe, fruit (tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini ... yes)... * * * * Mel - thank you for your kind words, too.

Frycek
So sorry about your cat. It seems like your beautiful cats have a very good, loving home.
I had to put my 14 y/o Jake to sleep a year ago because of liver failure, and like rocky, I had Jake cremated so he's still with me. He was my best friend, but I couldn't let him suffer any longer.
Sharon, I'm sorry about your iguana too.

Aw, man, I get back from CA and see this... Sorry, Sharon and Frycek! It's hard to lose a pet- I know, we've had so many! Our oldest cats now are 12, and so far, in pretty good health for their age. Frycek- I had a Siamese at one time. Fudge was a great cat. I still miss her.
