Frank R - That's you, I presume, in the portrait on the wall? And the whole R family? And pardon me for not knowing this, but do any of the rest of the gang play?

These are great pictures.
As "sleepingcats" said - they are all beautiful, and played by beautiful people.
Thanks to all for sharing.

I especially love your Boesendorfer room. The earth tones work very well with the ebony satin and the sky view out the windows is wonderful. To get the pictures to show up in your post, you may need to change a setting in your profile to enable the "full" reply window, if you are only seeing the "quick" reply window. I use only the full reply window. When using the full reply window, there are a series of blue and white buttons for "Instant UBB Code, next to those "Instant Graemlins". To insert a picture, lick the lower right button that says "IMAGE". That brings up a dialogue box. Paste the URL for the picture you want to show up in your post. It will then show up in the post instead of showing as just a URL. The code in the message composition window would then look like this (except there would be no spaces between the brackets--I added those so the code will show in this post): [ I M G ] http://www.pianoworld.com/ubb/ubb/confused.gif[ / I M G ] It is that bracketed code that the "IMAGE" button adds. All UBB code has a beginning and an ending code, with the ending code having the slash mark for the closing one of the pair.

You need to use PhotoShop, Paint, Compupic, or some similar graphics program to resize the image to usually not more than 640 pixels wide. There is supposed to be HTML code that can by typed in as well, to leave the image as is, but force it to display smaller, but I have never been able to make the usual HTML code work here.

Huh? What? I thought you all were kidding. Do you practice piano at a gym? Or is there live music for the aerobics class or something?

Hi ShiroKuro I own the gym...so I exercise (pardon the pun) the right to practise there whenever I jolly well feel like it. Although as a general rule I have some in-ear phones that I wear when practising during quieter times (say in the afternoons) so as not to upset (and lose) too many of my members. Although I will crank it up and play for anyone who is interested in hearing how I am getting along...which amazingly has cured me of many of my initial performance nerves. regards Lee

Wow! *starts to drool* (lol) all of ya'lls pianos are so B-E-A-utiful! some day i will get a grand piano or baby grand, and i will post it! so everybody reading this is a witness that i will some day get a piano! right now, all i have is a Yamaha keyboard (full length..all 88 keys) i will post a pic of it if i ever take one (which i really need to do lol) it is in a corner of my room which makes it convinient for me and gives me a little private practice space of my own

wow.. I'd find it very difficult to practice at the gym.
