Does anyone know of piano clubs for amateurs in the L. A. area? I would love to meet with and play for (with) other amateur, intermediate level pianists. It is hard to find partners for one piano four-hands or for two pianos. Thanks for any ideas. I tried google, without much luck. Tina

The last Sunday of each month, at the IHOP in Pasadena, at 2:00 there is a meeting of the Rose Leaf Ragtime Club. Not classically oriented, which might be a problem for you, as well as the Pasadena location, depending on what part of LA you live in. Most of the players (probably ten people perform each time) are of intermediate skill, with an occasional fine player, a really good young girl player, and an occasional clunker who gets a good round of applause anyway.
