May I ask how well can you play pieces?
Do you have to practice them or can you just sit and play? [/b]
Most days I can just play my rep pieces without a lot of practice or warm up. I usually make a few mistakes on the harder ones, but some days I surprise myself and play 3 or 4 songs in a row with no major flubs. Then again, other days I seem to mangle everything.
Besides playing them all at least every second day, I usually pick 1 or 2 for intensive practice as well. I find a piece needs to be on my list for at least 6 months before I can play it reliably. Hopefully that will get shorter over time.
Here are my current lists. (I play one list each day):
List 1
------
Bach - Little Prelude in C
Bach - Minuet in G
Clementi - Sonatina in C
Lennon - Imagine
Beethoven - Sonatina in G
Bach - Musette in D
Senneville/Toussaint - Mariage d' Amour
Jagger/Richards - Angie
Lichner - Gypsy Dance
Schubert/List - Serenade
Einaudi - Le Onde
List 2
------
Bach - Invention #8
Mozart - Sonata in C
Beethoven - Fur Elise
Senneville/Toussaint - Nostalgy
Senneville/Toussaint - Souvenir D'Enfant
Pachebel - Cannon in D
Tschaikowsky - Italian Song
Brahams - Hungarian Dance
Yradier - La Paloma
Tierson - Comptine
McCartney - Yesterday
Overstreet - When You Say Nothing at All
Plus I'm working on Invention #1 and Maple Leaf Rag, like my sig line says. I haven't decided yet what I'll drop when I add those two.
