Jerry Luke: "I'll play AND be a hula dancer."
Now *that* would be fun to watch!

Teachum, Is this your idea of a "tea party"? I'd like to expand beyond tea, if that's the case...

Finally the graemlin can be put to good use! Although I think we 86d the male hula dancers a while back, with the exception of a solo dance courtesy of Jerry.

HOT Hula Dancers, if I might add! Hey - it's my party - no 86'in the male hula dancers. But, we can be inclusive and have female too. Then everyone will be happy!

Then the male and female hula dancers will run off with each other, leaving the rest of us there to sip our mai tais and long island iced teas while teachum and adagiolady regale us with their piano virtuosity. I'm in! Can I bring the wife and kids?

Sure, why not. We'll keep it no more than PG 13.

I was in a business meeting one time and we were at the 'roundtable' part of the meeting, and when it came my turn, I had nothing to add to the meeting. My boss said "You have *nothing* to add?", and I said "No, I don't. I suppose I could get out my harmonica and play a few tunes, if you'd like." I was being a smart-alec, and my boss said "Good, next meeting I expect you to bring your harmonica." Needless to say, I brushed up on a few tunes and sure enough, next meeting I was made to play in front of the whole group. I feel like I'm in a similar situation now.

teachum: "Sure, why not. We'll keep it no more than PG 13."
But my kids are only seven (well, almost eight), five, and two.
Jerry Luke: "My boss said "You have *nothing* to add?", and I said "No, I don't. I suppose I could get out my harmonica and play a few tunes, if you'd like." I was being a smart-alec, and my boss said "Good, next meeting I expect you to bring your harmonica."
It's a good thing you didn't say, "I suppose I could get out my grass skirt and do a hula dance if you'd like."

AdagioM- That's for sure. Especially this week! Best to stay inside and practice the piano. Sometimes in the summer we go down to the beach and have a luau, complete with buried pig. (No hula dancers).

Just what is this big fascination with male hula dancers?!?! If you must feed your obsession, please transfer your PW membership to www.malehuladancerworld.com.

Sorry about that link. I forgot that they changed it. Check out the Web site for the International Brotherhood of Male Hula Dancers at www.iamgullible.com.

BTW, this thread should either end or be renamed. I feel the testosterone drip, drip, dripping away every time I post in the "Piano/Tea Party" thread.
