I've been working on this piece and I know there's something wrong with the piece but I just can't pin point it. Is it the tempo? timing issues? Maybe all you guys can help me out. Thanks

Kawaigirl1, I'm not familiar with the original piece. Your version sounds very very good to me. There were one or two spots where I thought you slowed the tempo down a bit when things got complicated in the right hand (the ONLY thing I don't like about box.net is that it doesn't give you a timer so you can't easily identify spots in a piece), so if you're really worried about it, you could try playing it with a metronome. But it sounded great to me.

p.s. How are you getting along with Come sei veramente? I've been working on the first 3 pages (up to the hard part), and the more I play it smoothly and closer to tempo, the better the notes sound, so now I'm thinking the transcription was pretty close after all.

Hi Kawaigirl, this is one of my favorite piece of Paul de Senneville that I love to listen. My level is not as good as you, so don't take my advice seriously.
1. measure #7,#8, 16th notes RH sound little rush, I will try to play them with lighter touch as this pattern is repeated through out the piece, so treat them well will make the piece sounds much better.
2. measure #11, my music score shows RH as 16th notes, look like you played much slower, or you have a different version of the score
3. measure #15, #16, good play on 32th notes RH, need more forte on the LH?

Finally, I wish I can play that good!

I think you nailed it for me tvpiano with your comments about the 16th notes being rushed in measure 7 & 8 and because of that, it's throwing the rest of the 16th notes off by making it sound slower.

Back to the drawing board
