So I finished my practice last night, logged it, and found that Cindy was 6 minutes ahead of me for the month.

I went back to the bench and worked on scales. I win. C'mon, Cindy, I dare you! :p

Oh, you want a piece of me? On a Saturday, when I have the whole evening ahead of me?

*Bring it!*

I have ran out of stuff to practice. I might get out some of my piano courses and start digging through them.

I can't wait untill next week. I got my hands on some pop piano courses that will keep me busy for a month but I will not have them untill Monday.

I will be practicing so I can play with a band. I will be spending a month on lead sheets and chord charts.

Of course I will still play my sheet music and my gospel music as well as scales and hanon. I will catch up with you crazy players next week!

I almost didn't get my practice in today! Went to the music store and spent waaay too much time there looking over sheet music, went out for mothers day dinner, then went to my daughter's chorus concert. But I managed to get my practice in anyhow!! *whew* I've yet to miss a day of practice since I've had the piano and I don't want to start now.

I DO believe I have put my nose in front of the Sphinx today on the Practise Log, and believe me it's a wonderful feeling. I think she's choking.

I have nothing better to do so I will play around with improvising some more new age music.

I have around sixty lessons I can go through. I think I will be dreaming music tonight.

I've fallen and I can't get up!

Geez, this week has been busy. I've been struggling to get to the piano at all, and the hope of overtaking Frycek has become a cruel joke.

And I might be out of town on Friday and Saturday so I'll fall even farther behind.

Doh!

Hmmm... Anyone else having trouble inserting a new record into the practice log? It wouldn't do so for me last night so I had to play with editing some existing records to get my time in. I had hoped it would be ok this morning but no such luck.

It was almost midnight last night when I tried to post my time. Maybe it's just my login messed up. I just now tried to insert a record for an hour of practice and it tells me "your record was not added successfully please try again". I'll have to write down my time for later posting when it's fixed.

Mine started working earlier this afternoon. I've been thinking of putting together something like a apreadsheet for keeping track of practice but the competition is sure fun! My teacher also looks on there to see what I'm practicing and what kind of time I'm getting in. That's handy.
