Feeling nervous and somewhat guilty after having not touched the piano to speak of during July and August nor until now. I'm to be back "at it" on Sept 21 with my teacher and I hope I can get some work done this coming week. I feel guilty since after 30 years I've finally found a wonderful teacher and have brought myself back to Gr. 8 and hope to improve and continue to move forward even at the age of 60 +. It's hard during the summer, since our good summer days are so short and my husband and family and I did do other things, i.e. there is a life beyond piano and practising. Does anyone else feel this way !! Anyway, wish me luck in returning to my efforts. Just hope I haven't fallen too far backward again.
