For about a week now, when I click on a thread to open it, 1/3 - 1/2 the time, I get the IE error page that says the page cannot be displayed. When I do a refresh, the page will show up. This has never happened ever since I was a member.

The other problem is the time and date don't appear more than half the time on the Threads page (under "last post", nor does it appear on the each individual post.

These 2 problems seem to start occurring at the same time, say 7-10 days ago. I haven't installed any new software or changed any settings. May be Windows did some automatic update, but I don't believe that's the case. Anyone experiences this or has suggestion to correct this?

It seems to me there may still be some bugs with the new server. Today I couldn't get to the main page, but could sneak in via a thread off the Google search list. That was from work, so it wasn't just my weirdness from home. This evening I could get on the main page and into a thread, but then I was frozen into the thread! John v.d. Brook over in the Teachers Forum mentioned that the server time is somewhere in Asia, too.

So, I'm not sure it's you - I think there's gremlins at work smile .

Yes, I've also noticed that my posting time was off as well, and had to reset my preferences. Definitely strange.

If you go to my profile at the top and edit profile, you can change the time adjustment used to determine how it displayes the time. Mine had changed from +5 to -2 somehow and I had to change it back yesterday.

I'm currently having problems with pages taking an extremely long time to pull up.

I've been noticing for awhile that the member name & date of the last post on the main Forum page (i.e., the ABF list of topics) seems to be wrong sometimes , but then corrects itself if refreshed.

Yesterday I tried repeatedly but couldn't reply to a PM somebody had sent me... I got the "flood protection" error message, which made no sense at all.

I'm sure it's just glitches with the new server. Frank's probably busy with moving and unpacking, but I imagine things will get worked out soon.

Actually I don't have a problem with the wrong time - at least I don't think so. Why? Because the problem is the time and date simply don't show - just blank space where the time/date would be. (Right now they are showing, but who knows when the afternoon rolls around!)

Also, seems like no one has experienced when they get a IE error of "this webpage cannot be displayed" and then displays OK on refresh?

Anyhoo, I don't have as annoying a problem as frozen pages.
