Like gmm1 (and I suspect for many of the same reasons) I'm heading off for a change of scene. Thanks to everyone who's helped and/or inspired me, especially Monica, Rich, OG, Cruiser, Betty, Shirokuro, Mr. Super Hunky, and last but not least, gmm1! And thanks to Gyro for all those laughs.

No, I'm not giving up piano, and I may lurk from time to time, but I haven't been posting much for a while and gmm1 gave me a nudge to say a proper goodbye.

May your musical journey take you where you wish to go.

Goodbye !

You can comeback anytime you want, there is no rule.

I check PW a few times a week and post a reply once in a while.

Oh come on this is nuts. Is everyone leaving and joining the circus or something?

What can we do to change your mind?. Everyone has their price. What is it?. If it does'nt kill me, make me sick or cost anything, I'll do it if you stay. try me!

I haven't contributed or lurk much for a while, did I miss some drama? e

If so, I'm glad I did.

I know everybody needs a break and change from time to time.

Donna, take care, I hope you and gmm1 at least stop in from time to time.

Don't make it goodbye, just "Auf Wiedersehen."

Take care, Donna, and I hope we see you again in the future. \:\)

It's sad to see people but I wish you all the best. \:\)

Donna, DONNA[/b], please... not you too? \:\(

You're the one responsible for introducing me to Alfred Brendel and, through him, to one of the greatest discoveries of my musical life - Franz Schubert. And you say - very generously - that I've helped and inspired you! Only today I was in town trying out some Kemble uprights - guess who inspired me to do that? btw, I loved the 'Conservatoire'.

....of course, dear friend, you must go where your heart leads you but please, come back soon, won't you? \:\)

Michael

Well, I have to say that when I sit down to list those whom I think of as "most informative posters" Donna R always comes to mind - what a great knowledge of composers/available music you have!

And I have to admit to looking at Kemble's, too \:\)

So - I can believe that it's time to spend some time elsewhere, so I hope you have a great time doing so - just know that you are valued here.

Cathy

Donna, take care and I hope you get to come back before it's my time to say goodbye.

I'll always remember you as the sweet lady. Good luck in everything you do.
