Since I added myself to your practice log, I'd better introduce myself to the board. I found piano world while looking for a new piano in Sept. I don't spend alot of time here, just glance over every couple days; but the log looked useful. I'm not really a beginner (I played some through my youth) but started taking lessons 1 year ago, after not doing much for about 20 years. My new piano has inspired me to new heights! It's a Petrof IV (5'8" grand) and I truly love it.
I've been picking up some great tips on learning technique from a book I downloaded by Chuan C. Chang, called Fundamentals of Piano Technique. You can find it by searching under Chuan C. Chang.

Welcome, Frida!

I suggest you make a run at catching up with Teachum and Mark on the practice log.

Hi Frida,

I am very jealous of your piano.

Welcome!

Hi Frida,

I am new as well and have really found this place to be useful, as well as a lot of fun! Hope to see more posts from you.

And yes, the practice log is very useful...not to mention motivating!
