Happy Valentines Day to all the ladies on the forum. 2hearts

Guys, remember to do something special for your special someone. I know, I'm kinda one sided on this but I always felt V-day was one for the ladies. Call it chilivary or call it sexism. Its just the way I feel. wink

P.S.- Thanks for the laugh SideShow.

Now, that's an idea that will continue to pay off for years to come.....

Wife's tend to remember forever the things we say without really knowing how they sound outloud.

The best of luck on this one....

Where's my hubby?

My husband has been out all day doing "Singing Valentine's" with a quartet "Country Squires" that needed a replacement for their bass who couldn't sing today.

He has done this for many, many years on Valentine's Day. He get's home when he gets home, as they can sing form early morning until late evening. Two songs, and a long stemmed rose, set up as a surprize anywhere you choose. Then on to the next event - probably scheduled miles away. They've been know to put a lot of milage on one car.

Then he said as he left this morning, I'll be home around 5:30 to cook you a magnificent dinner (all his dinner's are good - but this year he's been watching all the cooking shows and cook offs).

Gee, they look good in their tuxedos! And, the sound is great!

Betty

We used to do this in college with my a cappella group. So much fun. Happy day everyone.

If I had ever learnt, I should have been a great proficient.

HA, 2 years ago I sent the wife a singing valentine from one of the local barbershop groups. A local TV station was looking for a human interest story for Valentine's day, and they decided to tape the quartet singing to, you guessed it, my wife. She was so embarrassed to find that she was the video & sound for the closing credits of the local news. It was truly a Valentine's day to remember. She has, however, threatened to kill me should I choose to repeat the experience. laugh
