My wife, (she does the music, I do everything else) is a classical percussionist (marimba) and pianist. She is always on the lookout for music which shows off them both. Either she records the piano piece on the Clavinova and then plays the marimba or I play sound engineer to achieve same using the grand. Sometimes we get guests at our B & B who play so she can do live duets.
Anyone with any recommendations for interesting works would be much appreciated.

If you go to Sheet Music Plus and click on Advanced Search, and then, under Other Details, type marimba piano in the "find results with all the words" box, you should get over 200 hits. (Some will be for larger ensembles that include marimba and piano, but many are for a marimba and piano duo.) Among them are arrangements of Ave Maria, Rhapsody in Blue, Light Cavalry Overture and this nice compilation . Steven
