You could load it up on box.net or savefile.com ? With my Brickman "expertise" (very flattering S-H!) and Mr S-H's incredible looks, I'm sure we can decipher this mystery of yours...interesting though, you know almost the whole thing and you're LOOKING for sheet music!! You genius you!

Hmmm.. I wonder what that could be, it doesn't sound like a Brickman tune but it is very familiar! Monica, Super Hunky?? Cristofori's Dream is the title, by David Lanz you can get the sheet at musicnotes.com ( http://www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtd.asp?ppn=MN0046944 ) I heard an interesting theory on the songs title, it is of course named after the inventor of the piano as we know it today. One take on the title was that it depicts Cristofori's state of mind when inventing the ability for piano's to be played softly and loudly on the same keyboard (i.e touch response if you like). The opening representing Cristofori tinkering away in his workshop and as the song builds, so to does Cristofri's angst to create this marvel of his and his work becomes more intense. The suggestion then was to play the right hand of this piece with more force than the left to represent that ability to play different levels of tone. Cool hey!

I bet you had no trouble finding Wally there aswell Or maybe Wally's World is like that last picture in the wheres wally books where everyone and thing is Wally or Wally related? Cristofri's Dream is in my current repertoire so it didn't take much guesswork, I might even add it to my time capsule selections!! It took a good part of 2006 to learn!

[/b] I betcha old Cristofori was more concerned with the rising prices of Renner plectra and the influx of cheap tier 3 German harpsichords

Has anyone else tried Jim Brickman's "O Holy Night"?
I like his arrangement.

Cristofori's Dream is a favorite in the AB forum, and if you search the archives for it (click on the rectangular box at top of page) you'll find some good threads with playing tips etc. [/b] I will, I will. Can you perhaps confirm that the 9 page sheet I have is the correct one? Might even start working on it today...Even tho I'm swamped with books. Yeah, happy new year.

Maybe I'll put that on my list for next Christmas, and given how long it takes me to tackle Brickman pieces, maybe I'd better start it right away! [/b] Monica, It certainly wouldn't hurt to start, like, today! I thought it would be complicated for me. But I surprised myself by completing it in about 3 weeks. All it needs now is to be memorized and polished. This arrangement is a little "jazzy" or "new age-y." I have also learned the versions from Dan Coates' "The Best in Christmas Music" and Mark Hayes' "Christmas At The Keyboard" which are more straight-forward. All three are different, yet, beautiful versions!
